Sebuah kapal terdampar di atap rumah warga saat gempa yang disusul tsunami menghantam Banda Aceh, Aceh, Indonesia, 26 Desember 2004. Gempa 9,3 SR diyakini sebagai gempa terbesar di Samudra Hindia dan menimbulkan tsunami di 8 negara di Asia dan Afrika, termasuk Somalia dan Maladewa. Di Aceh, untuk mengenang tragedi yang menelan sekitar 120.000 korban jiwa tersebut, setiap tahun digelar acara peringatan tsunami Aceh 2004.
